Information we collect
The email address and name of the Google or Apple account you sign in with, and the links, notes, categories, and tags you save in the app or the Chrome extension. If you choose Hide My Email when signing in with Apple, we receive a relay address created by Apple. If you sign in with Apple, we also keep a value used to disconnect Sign in with Apple when you delete your account.
How we use it
Only to sign you in and to sync your saved items between your devices and the web.
Retention and deletion
Deleting your account deletes all of your items on the server. For accounts that signed in with Apple, it also disconnects Sign in with Apple. You can delete it from Settings in the app.
Service providers
Data is stored on Supabase (Seoul region). The website is served by Vercel.
Requests to other sites
Titles, preview images, and site icons of saved links are fetched directly from those sites by your device or browser. Those sites receive your IP address.
Send to another device
Links you send are not stored on the server. They are only passed to the receiving device. The IP address of each request is kept in server logs.
Chrome extension
The Chrome extension reads the address, title, description, preview image address and selected text of the tab where you click its icon or press its shortcut, and saves them to your account. It does not read other tabs or your browsing history. For some sites, it sends the link's address to that site to get its title. It reads and writes the sign-in cookie of godotori.com to share sign-in with that site.
Ads
The app shows ads between list items through Google AdMob. To choose ads and count impressions and clicks, Google collects your device's advertising ID, IP address, and records of the ads you view and tap. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland, and some US states, the app asks for your consent the first time you open it, and you can change it in Settings → Privacy options in the app. On iOS, the app asks for permission to track, and it works the same either way. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings. Your saved links, notes, categories, and tags are not used for ads. How Google processes this data: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Usage statistics
The app and the website use Google Analytics (Firebase) to understand how they are used. For this, Google collects an app instance identifier, the advertising ID, the IP address, screen usage, and device and country information. Saved links, notes, categories and tags are never sent. How Google processes this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Access by the operator
The operator views an account's items only when handling a request from that account's owner.
